Indian Army calls for women candidates through SSC tech entry. All women with engineering degree are invited to apply for the SSC 20 Tech entry. The entry is also to induct war widows in Indian military at officer rank. Certain eligibility instructions have been framed by the respective authorities which are as follows.
Age Limit – The age limit for the entry is 20-27 years. For war widows, the age limit is expanded by 4years i.e. 19-29.
Educational Qualification – The candidates having an engineering degree in notified streams as per the official notification, are eligible for the entry. Final year students are also eligible for the entry. For war widows, graduate degree from any recognized university will be accepted. The candidates, who are in the final year, are instructed to complete their examinations, practical, backlogs and all formalities before the commencement of the batch.
Dates For Online Form Submission – The application form will be available from 23rd Jan to 22 Feb 2017.
How to Apply
- Go to joinindianarmy.nic.in
- Click on apply now officers entry apply/ login.
- Click on registration and fill up your details carefully.
- Check your credential and apply for the entries for which you are eligible.
- After applying for the entry, take a printout of the form for future use.
Selection Procedure –
- The cut-off will be released by the Army on the basis of the academic performance of the candidates.
- The candidates selected after the cut for release will be further called for the SSB interview. The candidates will be informed about their time and SSB center by e-mail or SMS on registered mobile number.
- There will be stage 1 (Screening) and Stage 2 (Psychology, GTO and Interview) in the SSB interview. The candidates, who will clear stage one, will be further accessed in Stage 2. Those who could not make it in Stage 1, will be set free to go back. The recommendation of candidates resides on the performance of the candidate in stage 2.
- Recommended candidates will be sent further for medical examination and the final selection will reside over the merit list announced by the authorities of the Indian Army.
