AFCAT Exam Centre 2016 – 2017

Candidates applying for AFCAT 2016 [Air Force Common Admission Test] are required to select AFCAT exam centre where they will write the written exam. Indian Air Force provides up to five options while filling up the form, AFCAT exam centre 2016 will be allotted to the candidates on first come first serve basis. Candidates are advised to choose the nearest five AFCAT exam centres for better convenience.

Details of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Centres 2016 are appended below and would be allocated in order of submission of applications. AFCAT centre once allotted would not be changed under any circumstances.
Indian Air Force is conducting AFCAT exam at 61 AFCAT exam centres which are main centre locations, these 61 centres are further divided into sub centres for AFCAT exam.

  • Candidates may contact AFCAT Cell on Phone No 011-26160286 / 26160289 /26160459 (Direct) or 011-23010231 Extn 7905, 6245 to resolve any query regarding Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and application procedure. Query timings 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs (Monday to Friday). E-Mail queries may be addressed to [email protected]. AFCATcell will be operational from 13 Dec 14 to 22 Feb 16 only.
  • Candidates who are debarred by the Ministry of Defence from holding any type of commission in Defence Services shall not be eligible for admission to AFCAT examination and if admitted, their candidature will be cancelled.

Q: Can I change my AFCAT exam centre.
A: No, you can not change your exam centre once selected.
Q: Will I get exam centre as my first preference.
A: It is not 100% sure of getting exam centre at your first preferred location, afcat exam centres are distributed based on first come first serve basis.
Q: My father is in IAF and works in the near by AFCAT exam centre, can I apply for the same.

A: Yes, you can apply for the nearest afcat exam centre irrespective of your father’s occupation.

  1. While filling the last page of the form of AFCAT 2015 i made mistake on part 5 of the application form whereby my form is invalidated. Please someone tell me if i can apply again or what can i do?
