sir what is the difference between pass outs from OTA and other defence institutions ( AFA, IMA, NA)
Not sure about all the differences but one of the difference is that the pass outs from AFA, IMA and NA join their respective Defence Forces as Officer for Permanent Commission, whereas, pass outs from OTA, join Forces for Short Service Commission (I think OTA pass outs join Army only, someone correct me if I am wrong)!

OTA always SSC
But in AFA and NA there may be both PC and SSC, depends on the branch.

difference between IMA, OTA, AFA and NA is that officers commissioned from Indian Military Academy gets permanent commissioning where as from OTA they get short service commissioning of ten years. But officers passed out from OTA gets permanent commission if they opt after ten years of service.
Training period in IMA for non technical branch is 72 weeks and for technical branch it is 52 weeks. Whereas in OTA, both for technical and non technical, training period is 48 weeks.
IMA is only for male candidates whereas OTA is for male and female both. Similarly, AFA, NA is also for both male and female candidates.
In AFA, training for flying is 72 weeks, and for ground duty it is 52 weeks and for technical it is 72 weeks.
In NA, the training for graduate entry is only 22 weeks. After that they get commissioned.
IMA and OTA is only for army officers whereas AFA is for air force and NA is only for navy and coast guard.
