Indian Air force has revealed the answer sheets and marks of all applicants of AFCAT 02/ 2012 which was held on 26th Aug 2012. This is the first time IAF has revealed the obtained marks and cut off marks of AFCAT examination. One of the main reason behind this is the glitch that had happened in the AFCAT 02/2012 results.

- IAF has decided 143 marks as a cut off marks for AFCAT 02/2012 AFSB interviews. AFCAT paper contains 100 questions with 3 marks for each question and 300 marks in total. AFACT also has -ve marking system. A candidate with 47.6 correct answers ( after adding -ve marks) is declared passed.
- IAF has fixed the cut off marks based on the induction requirements of the IAF, performance of candidates in AFCAT as well as statistics of Reporting and Success rates at AFSBs.
- Marks of candidates who were absent during AFCAT are also published as Zero.

Are there more call up lists that AFCAT cell will publish(other than the present two call up lists)?
My AFCAT number is not present in both the lists( I have scored 178)

Actually I ahve my Job Joining from 26th Nov..Aftr which i will not be allowed to take leave for the next 2 mnths or so..

i have scored 172 but my name is not there on the list and more importantly the dates of interview are clashing with my final semester examz what to do ? if there is a 2nd list then what will be the interview dates i mean will they b the same or there will be a difference ? since there is a requirement of booking railway ticket in advance
check the correct afcat ssb interview post, 2nd list is on now.
I have checked the 2nd list on website my name is still not on the list, my afcat no. is 120640 can you please confirm if more lists are to come since the no. of candidates called up for interview is merely 1/5 th of the total qualifying candidates however it is good for me as i have my final semester exams from 15 – 29 nov 🙂

i have contacted them and am awaiting for their reply however i am pretty sure they wont so i can just wait and watch for now … anyways thank u for ur support u’ve done a great job by making it an effective platform for aspirants like us god bless u 🙂

hard luck bro…………….. chances are very bleak that they are going to revise the cutoff…. even if do .. probably it will be on higher side to restrict no. of candidates
