Passing out parade was conducted at Officers Training Academy, OTA Chennai on 12th March 2016. It was a proud moment for the parents whose sons and daughters were in passing out parade of OTA 2016 and became as young army officers this year at the Officers Training Academy (OTA).
Army chief General Dalbir Singh as a chief guest in OTA Chennai POP 2016 said “the force was the “most admired and respected institution” in the country and it was even being recognised by the international community.
“Indian Army has an image. Our Army is the most admired and respected institution in the country. We have rendered exemplary service in the face of external and internal challenges,” he said in his address after reviewing a passing out parade at the Officers’ Training Academy in Chennai.

An exciting show was displayed by the Officer Cadets, Instructors of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai and also by selected Regimental teams.

The event was witnessed by Officers and all ranks, Civilian Staff of OTA and the Officer Cadets of the junior, as well as passing out course and their proud parents and their guests.
