The Indian Army’s Spear Corps organized a comprehensive three-day Ex-Servicemen outreach programme from December 30, 2024, to January 1, 2025, benefiting 450 veterans, Veer Naris, and widows from seven districts of Tripura. - Resolution of Pension Anomalies and Documentation Issues: Dedicated efforts were made to address discrepancies in pension and service-related documentation, ensuring that beneficiaries receive their rightful entitlements.
- Dissemination of Welfare Schemes and Policies: Participants were informed about the latest welfare schemes and policies introduced by the government and the Army, enhancing their access to available benefits.
- Medical Assistance through ECHS Cell: A special Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) cell with medical staff was set up at the venue. The cell provided health check-ups, medicines, and medical aid to veterans, particularly those residing in remote villages.
