Demonstrating unparalleled endurance and determination, eight officers and thirteen officer cadets from the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, participated in the Chennai Marathon 2025 held on January 5. The contingent showcased the spirit of resilience and athleticism synonymous with the Indian Army.
Academy Under Officer (AUO) Pragati Thakur achieved an outstanding milestone by securing the second position in the 10-kilometre category (Females). Her exceptional performance highlighted the grit and dedication of the cadets undergoing training at OTA.
Participants from OTA competed across multiple categories, including 10K, 21K, and 42K, reflecting their commitment to physical fitness and excellence. Their participation underscored the Academy’s emphasis on fostering a culture of discipline, resilience, and leadership among its officer cadets.
The Chennai Marathon provided a platform for the officer cadets and officers to engage with the local community while upholding the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
