IAF AFCAT 2025 Registration for 336 Posts Begins: Apply Now at afcat.cdac.in

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially commenced the registration process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for the year 2025. Individuals interested in applying for various posts, namely the AFCAT – 01/2025 and the NCC Special Entry, can access the application forms through the official website at afcat.cdac.in. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 336 vacancies, encompassing 263 positions for men and 73 for women.

The registration period began on December 2, 2024, and candidates are urged to submit their applications by the deadline of December 31, 2024. Full details regarding eligibility criteria, the selection process, and other relevant information can be found in the official notification.

Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications, detailed in the notification accessible through the provided link. The age limits vary depending on the branch for which candidates are applying. For the Flying Branch, applicants should be between the ages of 20 and 24 as of January 1, 2026, which translates to those born from January 2, 2002, to January 1, 2006. For those applying to the Ground Duty branches, the age limit extends from 20 to 26 years, covering births between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2006. It is also essential to note that candidates must remain unmarried at the commencement of the course, and marriage during training is strictly prohibited.

There is a registration fee of Rs. 550 plus GST for candidates enrolling for the AFCAT entry, which is nonrefundable. However, applicants for the NCC Special Entry are exempt from this fee. Payment can be processed through various online methods, including credit/debit cards and net banking.

For those eagerly awaiting the next stages of the selection process, the AFCAT admit card will be made available on February 7, 2025, with the online examination scheduled for February 22 and 23, 2025.
