Hi everybody!! I have applied for the Flying,Technical, Administration, Logistics preference wise. I am expecting around 150-160 score in AFCAT 1 2015. What i wanted to ask was that do they have any separate cut-off for flying or other ground duty branches….I mean..For example- If somebody gets 128 marks(as you have set the cut off here) and if the candidate has applied for flying. Will they be taken for PABT during the AFSB? My doubt is regarding any cut-offs for different branches based on the written exam, if there are any?
No there isnt any separate cutoff for flying branch at AFSB. One can appear for PABT exam if he has filled flying as a preference. However the the scores do come handy in FINAL MERIT LIST, and the fate get decided there only i.e. the branches are alloted score wise, taking available vacancy into consideration.
Morning batch exam was equal in level as evening one………its just that one in which we appear we always feel it was more difficult……..basic human nature…………so just relax u have done ur part now let the exam coordinator s do there……….
The english of the afternoon session was pretty standard…much like the G.K section. And the questions related to visual ability were mind boggling and tough nuts…only god knows how i answered them. EKT for electrical & electronics was pretty basic except for the fact that it stressed more on electronics.
SO how will the cut-off be decided this time? Morning batch had decent english than the noon batch, noon batch had more of current events than the morning batch, morning batch had more questions on who what when.Morning batch maths section had 12 maths questions noon had 14.
