Wondering how to join Indian army, air force and navy once you are done with engineering or in final year. There are ample opportunities for an engineering graduates to join the forces with an engineering degree (B.tech and B.E), some of the entries are direct through you could directly appear for the SSB interview based on your engineering percentage. Upcoming technical entries for Indian Army, Air Force and Navy
For Indian Army
TGC Entry 2016 2017 ( for male only)
- TGC 123 expected date of notification would be Nov 2015.
- TGC 124 expected date of notification would be Mar 2016.
- TGC 125 expected date of notification would be Nov 2016.
SSC-Tech 2016 (for male and female)
- SSC-47 and SSCW-18 expected date of notification would be Dec 2015.
- SSC-48 and SSCW-19 expected date of notification would be June 2016.
UES Entry 2016 (for male only)
- UES 26 entry notification would be coming out in Aug 2016.
- UES 27 entry notification would be coming out in July 2018.
For Air Force
AFCAT Exam2016 (for male and female)
- AFCAT 1 2016 expected date of notification would be Dec 2015.
- AFCAT 2 2016 expected date of notification would be Sep 2016.
For Indian Navy
- Technical Branch notification would be coming out in Nov 2015 and Mar 2016.
UES, TGC and SSC-tech entries are direct entries which do not have any written exam and one could attend the SSB interview by applying for these entries directly. AFCAT is a written exam for which you have apply for technical branch and clear AFCAT and EKT exams. Indian navy technical entries have high cut off marks, so one needs to have good academic record for the same.
