NCC 36 Notification

NCC 36 notification, NCC special entry for Men and Women is published by Indian army. Candidates with NCC ‘C’ certificate with minimum ‘B’ grade can apply for NCC 36th Special entry. Applications are invited fromNCC 36 UNMARRIED/MARRIED male and UNMARRIED female and also from the Wards of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.

NCC 36 Vacancies

1. NCC Men: 50 (45 for Gen Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army only)
2. NCC Women: 04 (10% vacancies of Women are reserved for Wards of Battle Causality of Army personnel only)
   

NCC 36 Eligibility Criteria

• Age: For NCC candidates (including wards of Battle Casualities) 19 to 25 years (born not earlier than 02 Jul 89 and not later than 01 Jul 95).
• Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in third year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two years.
• Service in NCC : Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of N.C.C.
• Grading: Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Cer tificate Exam of NCC.

PERMANENT BODY TATOOS: Permanent body tatoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm, ie. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back(dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tatoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection. Tribes with tatoos mark on the face or body as per their existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis.

How to Apply for NCC 36 Special Entry

1. Apply on plain paper as per the format given in the advertisement, duly typed.
2. Applications should be posted to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued.
3. Applications of Candidates serving in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by Commanding Officer should be sent to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued.
4. All NCC Units will forward the applications to DDG, NCC of the concerned State,
5. Direcrorate General of Recruiting (Rtg ‘A’), Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army), reserves the right to shortlist applications on the basis of grade obtained by the candidates in NCC ‘C’ certificate examination/percentage of marks in degree examinations.
6. DDG, NCC States will process all applications and forward them to Dte Gen NCC. Special emphasis will be laid on the following points: 
1. Check date of birth from class X Certificate,
2. Check Degree/Provisional degree is from a University recognised by AIU.
3. Check marks sheets of all years and ensure that candidate has minimum 50% marks in the aggregate for all three years and in case of third year students 50% marks in aggregate for two years.
4. Check NCC ‘C’ Certificate with minimum ‘B’ Grading.
7. The last date for receipt of applications is as under:

• Last date for receipt of application at NCC Bn/Gp HQ 31 Jan 2014.
• Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC- 28 Feb 2014.
