SSBCrackAppeal for Removing Cut Off System in SSC and TGC Technical

Appeal for Removing Cut Off System in SSC and TGC Technical

ssc+tgc+cut+off

Hello everyone. I have a little suggestion regarding this “cut-off percentage criteria” as well as the (somewhat) removal of the IT stream from SSC(T) entry. After having going through the most recent notices published by the Indian Army, many of us have felt heart-broken and I, myself, am no exception to this.

Many of us even gave our views and suggestions concerning this subject. So I think, along-with commenting and sharing our view-points here, why not request the recruiting office DIRECTLY to give this issue a second thought? This might seem to be a stupid idea to many, though even i don’t know if its right or wrong, but what’s the harm in trying? We all can request them via e-mail- named or unnamed..however you may like it; but please, do not use offensive/rude language, as the Indian Army is highly prestigious and honorable and also, we are trying to get into it and not trying to do other-wise.
So, here is the e-mail id that i came through [email protected]  Let’s try our best. Hope sustains life.
 Good luck to all.

SSBCrack: Hi Warriors , there is something you can do from your end, lets raise your voice in the right place. Be polite  to the authority while appealing and do it in a well manner, hope it will do well for us in the next SSC and TGC-116.

Hope for well.

  1. As there are different no. Of vacancies for different branches therefore the cut off for different branches should also be different else there shoulb be no cutoff

  2. Hi! Tushar
wait for 1 week, the details will be updated in the website, earlier in the ssb call up list, they had mentioned about cut-off but now they have removed it in new call up list but the candidates are same, no new candidate below 66% have added but in the new list, they will add other candidates having less than 66%.. wait.. and keep ur eyes on website..

  3. tushar varghese6:00 PMEdit

i submitted my ssc 39th application with three of my friends, they had scored more than 66% and thus got letters for ssb at banglore, i sent a mail to the adress that was mentioned in one of your posts and got to know that there is no cutoff. the thing is even after this i have not received any call of letter, i dont understand what has to be done, i conveyed the same to the recruitment office & been frantically trying to call them but they are not picking up the phone. I am really dissapointed that im not being called, i tried for the NDA and i did not make it, and now this. please help

  4. sir,i had talked 2 ADG recruiting they said as such there is no cut off.. for our comfort we are sending call letters according to % wise…so,don worry friends all will get there call letters including girls…cheers!!!

  5. kanika ,

i would like to raise my voice even for AFCAT & naval SSC Entries that requires 60% in graduation . being a 59.8% holder i beleive that i will be a defence officer. so chances must be given to all.
if they are taking test and we are clearing it then there should be no doubt in our capabilities .then why is %age barrier persist.

    • Good point raised by you. . . In air force and navy cut off is there because in those services an officer or sailor need to work on aircrafts or ships. Due to this they need to study allot during their training. Those who have good marks, certainly have the capability to do good in academics and for such forces they are an asset if they have OLQ too.

Therefore, they have kept sixty percent as the cut off. This cut off is in place for more than three decades.

  6. i called at the army recriuiting office today and a colonel received the phone, i asked them about cut-off issue. he said now there is no cut-off, they have removed cut-off… now i am very happy.. 😀
    cheers army aspirants… 🙂

  7. admin can you please take this revolution to remove cut off in Air Force,Navy and Coast Guard also ??? if a student focus only on marks with pressure of 60%,he will never be able to play sports of high level.because of cut off and education pressure India don’t win medals in Olympics.our defense should keep these draw backs of pressure education in mind.

    • ah come on dude, I had represented my university thrice on national level and I had maintained percentage above sixty five through out my academic career. . . It is not difficult to score and play and bring medals at the same time. Yes, I understand attendance issue but you can’t score marks is completely not true.

Btw you can google the qualification of Abhinav Bindra and Maricom who won olympic medals for India. . .

BTW defence has a sports direct entries for sailor, airmen and jawans in the services where they don’t ask for marks. . . But for an officer, education is compulsory and sports an added advantage.

I got reply frm them dat it is being considered, plz wait.

I can’t tell you how much happy am I and many of other our friend would be.

Thanks once again. It was a superb idea.

  11. Dear friends, I wrote the following email:
    ———————————————————

    Respected team,

I am a defense aspirant, and i have done B.Tech in IT.I am highly interested in TGC,SSC entries of army. But from past few entries,i have found that IT branch is excluded from these entries. This step is highly disappointing for many aspirants like me.The key point here comes arises that, course for Computer Science branch is 95% same as Information Technology branch then why we people are being excluded from such entries. Many of the IT graduates like me want to serve army, and i am sure many guys among us have capabilities to do well in this profession.

So,please consider this email as an appeal from million such aspirants like me and raise this agenda. We would be highly thankful for your prompt response.

    Your’s truly,
    Rajat Sharma
    (Defence aspirant)
