SSC 45 tech men and SSCW 16 tech women course which is going to commence in OTA Chennai this year. More than 30,000 men and 5000 women candidates have applied for SSC 45 tech and SSC 16 tech will be shortlisted by Indian army based on their percentage in engineering. I’d Called the SSB Center Bangalore. They told me it’s branch wise cut-off this time for both SSC T-45 and SSCW-T-16 . So, what’s given on this page is wrong.
For sscw-tech -16, the cut off for computer science branch is 76%.

hi everyone…i had applied for SSCW-16 (Tech) Course. My percentage till 6th semester is 71.85. My 12th marks in Maths is 84, Chemistry it’s 89 and Physics it was 86. I am a Computer Science and Engineering student currently in final year. The cut-off mentioned in the above post is 68% till 6th semester. I could not understand the reason why my name is not mentioned in the list even though i am well above the required cut-off.
Though, I got the SSB-Centre for Non-Technical through CDS 2 2014 as ALLAHABAD. Is it possible that maybe i am being called for non-technical SSB they did not mention my name for the Technical. Can anyone tell me the reason why i was not considered for the technical entry?

yeah..maybe the cut-off is more for girls or maybe they also see the engineering course as well. I mean maybe they call more candidates with core engineering backgrounds like mechanical or electrical…..CSE posts are usually less…
because the cut-off is not 67% upto 6th sem. its higher.

The reason he dint get n u did is cause this time the cut off is branch wise. The cut off mentioned on this page is wrong.

I think in few defence forces they will consider physics and maths marks % in intermediate.

Yes, I did that too. I mailed them about the problem. But no use. Not even a single mistake i did because, I did same for TGC-121 and i got SSB call fr it.
Try to call them. If u live in a place where there is a SSB center, go to the ssb center and ask them directly what the cut off is.
