- LAGAAN: It was a very big risk when Aamir Khan turned producer for this movie but, as it happened this movie became India’s official entry for Oscars in that year. It is just a treat to the eyes when we Indians take on the Firangis in a match of Cricket which will determine the fate of the whole territory. Brusque portrayal of the Lead role by Aamir Khan, brisk direction by Ashutosh Gowariker makes you glued to the movie. - THE LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH: The story of a young man hailing from Punjab who made it a point that every bit of his flesh belonged to his motherland. Not everyone had the gumption to proffer his life for the nation at the age of 23. People don’t regard Bhagat Singh as the most Influential freedom fighter for no reason. Another spectacle directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and aptly played by Ajay Devgn, this classic makes your blood simmer. - MARY KOM: Please don’t do the mistake of ignoring this Priyanka Chopra starrer as just another sport’s star biopic. This film will take you through an exhilarating journey of how the mother of two fights the world and emerges as the most celebrated women’s boxer in the country. - SWADES: Another Shah Rukh Khan starrer directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. It is quite fascinating to see how subtly the whole crew has filmed this movie. - HOLIDAY: This movie lives up to its tagline that “, A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. It is the story of an Army Officer (Akshay Kumar) who goes on leave to be with his family but doesn’t shy away from his obligations in demanding situations. This movie will make you realize the core values out of which the Officer in the Indian Army is made of. Don’t miss this one because you cannot afford to.
